Research Interests
- Cell cycle
- C. elegans
- mitotic kinases
My laboratory is using C. elegans as a model system to study chromosome and spindle dynamics during the meiotic and mitotic cell cycles. Using a powerful combination of forward and reverse genetics, live and fixed-cell imaging and biochemistry, we are deciphering how several mitotic kinases and their substrates are coordinately integrated to promote timely and accurate chromosome segregation during each cell division.
