Community Outreach Program

The Community Relations office in the Department of Gynecologic Oncology and Reproductive Medicine develops and plans community relations programs (including special events, fundraising and outreach projects) and educational materials to build awareness about risk factors and symptoms of ovarian cancer and other gynecologic cancers, and raise funds for associated research programs in the department.

The Blanton-Davis Ovarian Cancer Research Program and the Uterine Cancer Research Program benefit from community relations events throughout the year.

If you or your organization would like to receive information, get involved with upcoming events or if you would like to arrange for a speaker on the topic of gynecologic cancer, please e-mail the Program Manager of Community Relations and Development, Pamela Weems, at GynOncCommunityRelations@mdanderson.org or call 713-792-2765.
