Mission

The mission of the Department of Bioimmunotherapy is to eliminate cancer as a significant health problem in Texas, the nation and the world, through superior patient care, research and education. This will be accomplished through the interaction of basic and clinical research in the discovery, development and rapid clinical implementation of new immunologic and biologic therapies.

 

 

Vision

The Department of Bioimmunotherapy will provide the foremost leadership in the implementation of biological and immune therapies by:

  • Fostering multi-disciplinary collaboration in biological and immune therapy
  • Defining and improving new therapies through the understanding of their mechanisms of action
  • Fostering the development of research concepts to clinical fruition
  • Offering exceptional patient care
  • Educating the next generation of experts
  • Continuously improving operational efficiency
