| We are offering a confidential and convenient assistance program for M. D. Anderson faculty members, their spouses, partners, and children living at home.
A medical or academic career is both rewarding and challenging. Balancing these challenges with personal and family demands is often complex. Any problem, regardless of the severity, may interfere with one's peace of mind. Outside consultation may help put these problems in perspective and suggest ways to effectively manage the stress of everyday life.
The Faculty Assistance Program is a diagnostic, consultation, and referral service for members of the academic and medical staff who are experiencing personal, relationship, or work-related difficulties. An experienced clinician is available to help guide you to solutions.
Consultations are strictly confidential consistent with applicable laws pertaining to mental health professionals. You can be reassured that no one in the institution will be informed of your contacts with these carefully selected specialists.
