Welcome to the M. D. Anderson Cancer Center Community Clinical Oncology Program (CCOP) Research Base.

The Research Base is an NCI-funded program that makes cancer control and prevention trials available to a national network of CCOP sites.

The mission of the Research Base is to enable more patients, particularly those in the community, to have access to advance cancer care and to enhance the health of patients affected by cancer. Secondly, the Research Base is interested in exchanging medical information, scientific technology and best practice standards among academic internal faculty and fellows, other academic centers and community oncology sites through collaborative development of practical, innovative cancer control trials.
