We’ve Upgraded the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)

We've recently upgraded the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).   An applicant tracking system is used to house the information entered when candidates fill out an application.  Recruiters and hiring managers are then able to review the information for current and future positions.

Do I need to create an MD Anderson Profile?
Yes, definitely.  If you’ve applied with MD Anderson Cancer Center in our previous system, your login and password will no longer be valid, along with any previous personal information and resumes.  Since we are not able to do a full data migration, it is highly recommended that you complete a profile with your most recent contact information and resume.  The great thing about our upgraded system is that you can have more than one resume uploaded, tailored to meet the needs of that specific job.  Create your new MD Anderson Profile.

What happens to my application that was submitted prior to the upgrade (Nov. 11th)?
Applications received prior to November 11th are being considered in our previous system.  It is not necessary to reapply to positions you’ve applied to in our previous system.  As positions become available, they will be posted in our upgraded system.

Will I be required to take any assessments?
Once you’ve applied for a position and are moving through the initial pre-screen process, you will be prompted to take any required assessments.  Your application is not complete until these assessments are completed if applicable.

What Are the Benefits of the Upgrade?
There are many great benefits associated with our ATS upgrade.  These benefits include:

  • User-friendly application submission
  • Option to have multiple resumes and cover letters
  • Updates on your application status through your dashboard

We apologize for the inconvenience of creating a new profile, but we know that you’ll benefit from the new functionality of our upgrade and we look forward to reviewing your application.
