The Cardiopulmonary Center provides consultation and evaluation services for M. D. Anderson patients with cardiovascular and pulmonary disease. Faculty performs risk assessments for patients with cardiovascular and pulmonary disease who are scheduled to undergo surgical or medical treatment of their malignancies.

They assist in diagnosing and managing the medical complications of cancer and adverse effects of cancer therapy in the heart and bronchopulmonary system.
