Terms of Use:

As a service to the media, The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center is making certain logos and photos (collectively the “Materials”) available for use in conjunction with stories about M. D. Anderson, and is granting such authorized users the limited nonexclusive, nontransferable, and nonsublicensable right to copy, use, and distribute the Materials. By downloading and/or using any Materials from this website, the user acknowledges and agrees to the following:

1. The photos that are made available in this website are copyrighted by The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center or by third parties from whom M. D. Anderson has obtained permission to publish and make available their images. The copyright in each photo appears with each image. All copyright and other proprietary notices contained on the original image must be maintained on all copies.
2. The logos that are made available in this website are trademarked by The University of Texas System. All trademark registration and other proprietary notices contained on the original image must be maintained on all copies.
3. The Materials may not be altered, modified, or manipulated in any manner, except for size and cropping, and no derivative works may be created from the Materials. 
4. The Materials may be used only by media agencies to accompany corresponding stories about M. D. Anderson (not including advertisements).
5. The Materials may not be used in any way that could be considered defamatory, scandalous, pornographic, immoral, offensive, obscene, fraudulent, or illegal whether by making changes to the image or by juxtaposition to accompanying text or images or otherwise.
6. The permission to use, copy and distribute the Materials will terminate automatically, without notice from M. D. Anderson, if the user fails to comply with these terms and conditions.
7. Except for the limited permission granted herein, no other copying, use, or distribution of the Materials is authorized. In particular, no syndication or commercial use of any kind of the Materials is permitted.
8. The user does not obtain any ownership right, title, or interest in any of the Materials by using them in any manner. Except for the limited permission granted hereby, all rights not expressly granted are reserved by M. D. Anderson or the other copyright owners.
