- You will have to upgrade to TIS 2010. License Key will only work for TIS 2010.
To Request a New License
Request a new license with your Employee ID and e-mail address, (ie. jdoe@mdanderson.org)
Being that Trend Micro Internet Security Software is a retail product, the licenses are only valid for a year from the time you install and register the license with Trend Micro.
You will need to request new license prior to the expiration date. If you have received an e-mail from Trend Micro that your subscription is about to expire, please request a new license from M. D. Anderson.This should be done annually.
To upgrade to Trend Micro Internet Security 2010
Make sure your system meets the NEW minimum requirements. Then, register for new license or use your existing license if it hasn’t expired:

To run Trend Micro Internet Security 2010, your computer must meet
these hardware and software specifications:
- Compatible Microsoft Operating Systems
- Windows 7 Ultimate, Professional, Home Premium, Home Basic or Starter Kit (32-bit or 64-bit)
- Windows 7 Ultimate E, Professional E, Home Premium E, Home Basic E, or Starter Kit E (32-bit or 64-bit)
- Windows Vista Ultimate, Business, Home Premium, or Home Basic with or without Service Pack 1 (SP1) or Service Pack 2 (SP2) (32-bit or 64-bit)
- Windows XP Home, Professional, Media Center, Tablet PC Edition with Service Pack 2 (SP2) or Service Pack 3 (SP3) (32-bit)
- CPU
- Windows 7 Ultimate, Professional, Home Premium, Home Basic or Starter Kit (32-bit or 64-bit) - Intel Pentium 800MHz (1GHz recommended)
- Windows 7 Ultimate E, Professional E, Home Premium E, Home Basic E, or Starter Kit E (32-bit or 64-bit) - Intel Pentium 800MHz (1GHz recommended)
- c. Windows Vista Home Basic, Home Premium, Business, or Ultimate (32-bit or 64-bit) - Intel Pentium 800MHz (1GHz recommended)
- Windows XP Home, Professional, Media Center, or Tablet PC - Intel Pentium 350MHz (800MHz recommended)
Note: Trend Micro Internet Security 17.50 can support computers with processors equivalent to those listed above, as well as Intel Hyper-Threading, and dual core or quad core Atom processors.
- Memory, Disk Space, and Monitor
- Memory - 256MB minimum (512MB recommended) for Windows XP; 512MB minimum (1GB recommended) for Windows Vista / Windows 7
- Disk Space - 500MB available for installation
Note: Trend Micro Internet Security 17.50 can support RAID 0 (Striping) or RAID 1 (Mirroring). - Monitor - 1024 x 576 minimum with high color
