Collaborations

Sister Institutions

MD Anderson currently has a global network of sister institutions which includes 22 entities in Brazil, Chile, China, France, Germany, India, Japan, Jordan, Korea, Lebanon, Mexico, Norway, Peru, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan and the United Kingdom.

Each sister institution represents a mutually beneficial relationship in which interested faculty from each institution define areas of collaboration. These relationships help to facilitate educational exchanges, medical conferences and collaborative research projects. Together, a powerful research, education, clinical care and prevention network is formed with the ability to influence trends and advance global knowledge in oncology.  These relationships are managed by Global Academic Programs, one of the departments in the Center for Global Oncology.
